Locally owned and operated, GLOBAL WRESTLING PROMOTIONS (GWP) is America’s leading Professional Wrestling federation, supporting some of America’s youngest and brightest athletes.
We put the "Entertainment" in Sports Entertainment and run events that attract fans both young and old with a strong emphasis on youth and street culture From awe-inspiring acrobatics, and technical showcases; to clowns, kendo sticks and inflatable hammers; there is something for everyone at a Global Wrestling Promotions wrestling event.
Present
Most recently GWP have moved closer to the city center, kicking off 2010 with our show called Saturday Night Beat Down in the great city of Mobile, Alabama.
Which attracted much media attention and will lead to further tours throughout the United States.
This is an indication of GWP’s rising popularity amongst the Professional Wrestling scene, as patrons seek out different and diverse forms of entertainment. Where else can you cheer your heroes and boo the baddies to your hearts content as you interact with the talent to become part of the performance?
As diverse as our events are, our fans and sponsors are just as diverse and range from toddlers to grandparents, with the majority in the late teens/ early 20s age group. With the recent addition of or women’s matches, a whole new level of fans are continuously discovering
Global Wrestling Promotions and joining the ranks of the most diehard loyal fans who create signs and paraphernalia to support their favorite wrestlers.
Future
GWP’s popularity is on the rise, and as such we will be seeking out larger venues as well as branching out further into other regional areas. We will also continue to engage in community events.
Networking:
Through a series of ancillary events such as press parties, after-Show gatherings, volunteer appreciation parties and VIP/Sponsor Hospitality Room access, sponsors are offered an avenue to market themselves to other patrons. This important opportunity can help companies achieve and further develop business goals with others of similar interests.
